MÄNNER VALVE GATE HOT RUNNER SYSTEMS

As a pioneer in the field of cylindrical valve gates, männer is a specialist for products that rely on total dimensional accuracy and top sprue quality. Even challenging materials with narrow process windows can be processed with extremely short cycle times. Valve gate systems from männer are extremely wear-resistant and ensure a low-maintenance, long-term use.

VALVE GATE SYSTEM

Once the machine clamping force has been built up, the valve stem is retracted. The entire cross section of the opening is available for filling the cavity. When the hold pressure ends, the valve stem closes the sprue.

  • The opening and closing movement is triggered by pressurizing the opening and closing chamber of the pneumatic unit with compressed air (6 bar).
  • The compressed air feed is activated by an electromagnetic 5/2 control valve.
  • The signal for activating the valve is provided by the injection molding machine.

PRE-CENTERING OF THE CYLINDRICAL VALVE STEM

During the closing movement, the valve stem is first pre-centered via a guide slope and then brought into the exact position of the sprue bore by a cylindrical guide.
